If you know me, you know I think the waves are always good. Growing up in Manhattan Beach, my fun was doing one turn on a 2 foot closeout. A true blessing in disguise because now living in San Diego, the waves are ALWAYS good. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” I so badly want my thankfulness and stoke for all waves to be the same for my gratitude towards the Lord at ALL times. I’m continually moved by those who truly rejoice and give thanks to the Lord at all times, no matter how big the blessing. Lord I pray this week that you teach us true gratitude. I encourage you to reflect on your life and praise the Lord for all size of blessings, because Jesus deserves all the praise.
